Stevns camping is a beautiful destination located very near Køge Bugt. The area is surrounded by nature and has a peaceful atmosphere. You can take a leisurely stroll along the water’s edge to Maglebyskov/Bøgeskov, and enjoy the stunning view of the coastline.
For those who want a longer adventure, exploring the Holtug chalk quarry and Stevns Klint is a must. These places have a unique charm that you won’t find anywhere else.
There’s also the opportunity to visit other nearby attractions such as the Stevns Klint Experience museum, the Cold War Museum (stevnsfortet), and Camp Adventure with a 45-meter forest tower.

Højerup Old Church is located on the 30 m high cliff. It was consecrated in 1357, but the sea undermined the cliff, and in 1928 the choir fell into the sea.
Stevns Klint is a UNESCO World Heritage Site because it contains the story of the great mass extinction 66 million years ago, when half of the Earth’s animal species became extinct – including the dinosaurs. An exciting museum for both children and adults.

For more than 100 years chalk was quarried in Holtug, but since 1972 the quarry has remained largely untouched. Today you can take a walk down through the break and out to the water – the paths can be slippery, so we recommend that you bring sensible footwear.

STRØBY
Many of Martin A. Hansen’s books are based on experiences here in the Stevn area, where the well-known author grew up. Tryggevælde Ådal is a unique, beautiful natural area. Solgårdsparken see the 4 eagles and walk through the park to Tryggevælde Å.
Music events several times during the summer. Botanical garden is well underway. A little south of Strøby Ladeplads, out on the coast, lies Gjorslev Maglebyskov and Bøgeskov, which is a varied old beech forest with, among other things, 55 burial mounds and countless good hiking trails. Individual events are held at Gjorslev Castle throughout the year. There is free access to parts of the large castle park. Bøgeskov Harbor is close to Bøgeskoven.
Approx. 10 km south of the area starts the 15 km long Stevns Klint, which with its chalk-white chalk cliffs rises more than 40 meters from the coast. The robbery site is a small thatched house built in 1978. Hear about the murder of the king in Finderup Lade. Rich view over Tryggevælde Ådal. Vallø Slotspark is open to the public.
There is plenty of opportunity to walk along the marina and the fishing harbor and buy fresh fish. Hike from Rødvig to Boesdal Kalkbrud.
Stevns Camping is a manageable campsite with fun playgrounds. In the summer, we also have our animals who wants to be pet. Here, together with the family, you can put the everyday life on a pause and really slow down.
